support packages and realise important
customer benefits.
Services: Demand Management and Forecasting
Categorisation & consolidation of customer demand data
Raw customer demand data provided by the Client is categorised enabling order generation based on agreed rules. Each category
is consolidated at item level for agreed time period (normally weekly).
Create Customer Demand Forecasts
The consolidated forecastable demand data is used to generate mathematical models of the demand history for each item.
Extending the model into the future produces the demand forecast for each item.
Process Optimisation
Statistical Safety Stock calculation
Sub processes measure the historical variability of demand vs. forecast. The statistical safety stock calculation utilises this
measure to identify an appropriate level of safety stock for a given service level requirement.
Optimise Inventory for given service levels
Various techniques including optimal grouping and ‘plan to stock’ rules are used to minimise the total inventory required to
support an overall service level need.
Kit assembly planning using BOM
If Kit or Assembly requirements are required then both the independent and dependent component demand forecasts can be
combined for procurement planning purposes.
Supplier Management Techniques
We have an excellent track record of delivering cost savings without compromising quality from our database of SQA approved
